Resistance Temperature Detector(Rtd)

MICRO Resistance Temperature Detector works on the principle on the measurement of electrical resistance of a metal wire as it varies with the temperature. Platinum is the most suitable metal for thermometry being mechanically and electrically stable. It can be highly refined and the relationship between the temperature and resistance is quite linear
